I am on the lookout for a pair of passenger armrests.

My good lady suffers from arthritis in her hips and is finding sitting in one place for longer than 20 minutes very painful. I am hoping that using armrests to help her reposition herself whilst riding will mean we do not have to stop every half-hour.

The armrests can be in any condition as they are more to test a theory.

I have have been looking for a set on ebay for sometime now, and they are not put on there very often, when they do come up they have been at silly prices.

I dont want to put you off your idea, but speaking from experiance with Julie and her hip problems, even with the arm rest she could just not sit on the seat for any lengh of time, in the last few month before she had her hip replaced she could not even sit down.

I understand people and thier problems are all different, prehaps an idea is to get your lady wife to sit on another bike with arm rest and test your plan.

Hope this helps

Nick

Thanks for the advice, I will look in to that idea too.  By the way, how is Julie now she has had her hip replaced?
