Me again. Have all the small Goldwing accessory retailers stopped trading? I need urgently to lay my hands on two chrome flag poles of the type that specifically fit onto the tubular steel pattern of luggage racks. I would prefer the fold-down type but will go for fixed versions if that's all I can get. I used to have a whole list of small suppliers in the UK but now Google only reveals mostly overseas suppliers and the likes of Colin Appleyard and HGB. Neither of these latter two UK companies have the items in stock and have been pretty negative when it comes to providing a definite availability date! Even Pricedright has now changed ownership and I can't get an answer from the new owners.

If anyone knows of any other possible UK suppliers, I would appreciate a 'heads up.' Many thanks.

Thanks Crezz for your help. I have now managed to get hold of Pricedright (which has now been bought out by Knutsford Honda Limited) and am hopeful that they are going to be able to help me get these items in time. The others have no stock and could not give me a positive answer on availability. Many thanks again.

The one I have on my radio aerial is stainless steel, but unfortunately they came from another shop that went to the wall, so are no longer available. :whatever:

I must get around to making or awuiring a thin long bag to cover my two flags on the pole, they do suffer pretty quickly flapping in the wind all the time. :(

Pete- despite the fact that 98% of the flags sold in America are made in China, we actually DO have high quality ones available here, for all nations....

Would you like me to bring you a pair of Union Jacks? :th Oh, and do they have to be less than 2' by 4'? :do:

Thanks Pete, I have a Union Jack one from Cowhide Covers, who are on your side of the Pond. I have recently replaced both this and the RBLR pennant one, which obviously comes from this side of the Pond. They both should be good for a while, if I get to cover them when not needed for display.

:)

You are right Pete, my Union flag is well knackered now and is only 5 month old and the RBLR pennant is getting that way as well.

I have seen them somewhere, just can't quite think where though. Might come to me later.

Don't know about flag pole warmers:? but when I ordered my two flag poles from Knutsford Honda (formally Pricedright) the guy said "they come with the USA flag but if you would like:) a Union flag, we do them for £13.00:(" to which I said "can't you swap them over for me;) as I've already got two USA flags from the previous poles I bought:tap" to which he replied "well, I can but it will cost you another £26.00:x" to which I just sighed and accepted my fate:whatever:! P.S. No disrespect intended to our American colleagues:)

Missed this bit. Are some of you interested in covers for your flag poles? We used to have them in the swedish clubshop. Now dismantled. Had two myself. But if there is interest I will look around and see if I can get some still.
