Posted with kind permission from Tanygaer. Should have posted this some time ago but I've had megga probs with the PC. On my Wingovations site I now have the new swinging arm bearing kits for all years of GL1000 ready to ship. These had been held up for months waiting for the repro seals from the States but it has been worth the wait as these are very nicely made. As I have already been asked the question; these bearing kits will only fit the GL1000. The 1100/1200 use a different system of taper roller bearings. Also I have quality Quinton Hazel timing belts, in stock, for all 75-87 models. I think I have them priced quite tight at £25/pair for the 1000/1100 and £20/pair for the 1200, although Jamie seems to think they can be had for around £8 a piece from auto shops. Well, maybe he has better shops down his way but no-one I contacted had either of these belts in stock; they would have to be special order. Best prices I found online were for the 1200 @ £9.41 each so ok I'm £1.00 away there. nice service provided there old fogey, as for cam belts, sometimes there are a couple of numbers that cross match, maybe thats the case here
